We are looking for a reliable and practical Part-Time Delivery Driver / Stores Assistant to support our busy bathroom and kitchen business.

This role would suit someone with a hands-on background, such as an ex or retired plumber, labourer, installer or trade assistant, who is looking for flexible part-time work. There may also be the opportunity to assist on jobs for additional hours, depending on experience and availability. The role is typically 15–20 hours per week, with flexible hours to be agreed.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering bathroom and kitchen products to customers and job sites
• Collecting goods from suppliers when required
• Loading and unloading deliveries safely
• Checking goods in and out of stores
• Keeping the warehouse/stores area tidy, organised and safe
• Checking deliveries against paperwork and reporting any damaged, missing or incorrect items
• Supporting installers with materials and site deliveries
• Assisting on jobs where required, depending on skills and experience
• Carrying out general errands and practical tasks as needed

About You

The ideal candidate will be reliable, organised and practical, with a common-sense approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a small team.
Previous experience in plumbing, building, labouring, stores, warehousing or deliveries would be useful. You will need to be physically fit enough to handle bathroom and kitchen products safely.
A full UK driving licence is required.

Salary & Benefits

• £12.71 per hour, negotiable based on experience

This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who is competent and able to work independently and as part of a team.

The successful candidate must have the following experience:

• Plumbing – Must be fully qualified.
• Carpentry – Basic skills required, assembly of furniture, cutting of worktops, building boxing’s, studwork etc. Floor repairs, fixing skirting etc.
• Tiling – Additional skills would be an advantage.
• Plastering – Basic skills required: filling, bonding out chases etc. Additional skills would be an advantage.
• Finishing – Must be able to apply silicone sealant to a high standard, must be clean, neat and tidy.

In addition to above you must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience of bathroom fitting required. Must possess excellent communication and customer skills, as this is a customer facing role. Be honest and reliable, with a ‘can-do’ attitude. A full driving licence would be beneficial. Be flexible to travel to customer locations. Be able to work using your own initiative and as part of a team.

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced Bathroom & Kitchen Designer to join our team.

As a designer you will be responsible for generating your leads, through interaction with customers in store and exploring opportunities outside of the showroom. We expect our Designers to be inspiring, outgoing and ambitious.

Joining the team as an experienced Designer the successful candidate will:

• Have experience in working towards targets in a commission/target-based role
• Be extremely personable and able to develop immediate customer rapport
• Be confident and highly motivated
• Have a driving license & own vehicle to attend home design & measure appointments
• Will have experience working with computer-based design packages
• Be someone who is a high achiever with a proven track record of consistent sales performance
• Hold a full UK driving licence.

As well as being part of the showroom team, you will conduct home design visits to design and specify all relevant products for the bathroom & Kitchen projects through the use of Virtual Worlds & Winner Design, alongside showroom presentations. You will have a strong technical understanding of construction principles, excellent time management, and outstanding sales skills.
