CORONAVIRUS PRECAUTIONS

14th May 2020

Following the governments update on Sunday 10th May, we will be staggering a return to work from Monday 18th May. Ahead of our return to work, we need to make you aware of the strict Health & Safety practices we will have in place.

We will only have one tradesperson on site at a time, but there may well be occasions when deliveries are made, a 2 man lift is required, or Rob the installation manager visits. On these occasions advance warning will be provided to yourselves and our members of staff.

Our installers will have various items of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) with them. These include but are not limited to; face masks, gloves, hand sanitizer, anti-bacterial spray  & wipes.

We will require uninterrupted access to your property, and the installer will require a key to be left or delivered to the business premises prior to your start date. If this is not possible, please ensure when the fitter arrives, the door is left open, and you are at a safe social distance, minimum of 2 metres away. We are fully insured to attend your property if you are not there, and we secure all keys at our office when not in use.

If you have any questions for our installers, or any member of our team and you do not have their contact number, please let us know and it will be provided. If you wish to speak to a member of our team on site, please do not enter the area they are working without giving them prior notice, and keep a safe social distance at all times.

If you, or a member of your household has Covid-19, or any symptoms, or you have come into contact with anyone who has, please let us know immediately. We will not put ourselves or you in danger, and will not attend site if either party has concerns.

Please ensure the working area is found clean & tidy. If you can be without the facilities being refurbished throughout the duration of the work that is preferable. Our team members will have anti-bacterial sprays and wipes and will do their upmost to sanitize areas prone to touch if the facilities need to be used during our works. They will also require access to washroom facilities to maintain personal hygiene.

We will be resuming installations strictly in the order in which they were booked in. This may of course mean a delay to your original installation date for which I can only apologise, but this has been unavoidable. We will be in touch to discuss any technical surveys and revised start dates in the coming weeks. If you do not wish us to carry out your installation during these times, we will of course accommodate changes to your proposed start date.

The majority of our suppliers are open again, and deliveries are resuming to ourselves next week. Some manufacturers are experiencing a shortage of supplies, and if this affects your installation, we will inform you as soon as possible to discuss the options.

Our showroom will be open from Monday 18th May, strictly by appointment only. Please contact us via email directly to your salesperson or at sales@a1bathrooms.co.uk or call 01256 810460.

Dear Valued Customer,

During these unprecedented times, businesses across the UK and Ireland are making adjustments to mitigate the impact of COVID-19. We want to reassure you that we are actively monitoring the situation on an ongoing basis and are taking steps so that we can continue to provide you with our products & services.

The situation is changing day-by-day, and we are rigorously following the government guidance as it is released. One of the ways identified to reduce the risk to both our staff and you is to review our face to face interactions.

Currently no members of staff are showing any symptoms or have been diagnosed with COVID-19 & we plan to continue with the installation & delivery schedule as normal.

Here are the key steps we are taking:

· We are instructing our installation & sales team members to try wherever possible to maintain a reasonable distance (approximately 1-2 metres) from other people on-site & in store;

· We have advised our Delivery team not to request signatures, but they will request your full name for the proof of delivery;

· Any members of staff who are feeling unwell are required to self-isolate and remain at home;

· Any members of staff that have been abroad to infected areas specified by the Government, will go through the process of isolation and testing;

This may mean we may take longer than normal to provide you with our products & services, and we appreciate your patience.

Your co-operation is appreciated when our team are attending:

· We would appreciate your co-operation to ensure that we have access whilst limiting contact with anyone at your location. We will give you as much notice as possible in advance of a visit so that you can prepare.

· Please inform us if you become aware of any person(s) that are showing symptoms or have tested positive before we attend site.

· Ensure you allow our team members access to your washroom for hand washing.

To ensure we can all help each other reduce the risk please inform us if the contact details we have for you need to be updated, please email us:
